Sorry I haven’t updated in a few weeks. The month of March was an absolute shitshow that derailed my writing routine. I’m sad to say that the daily consecutive writing streak I maintained for over four years straight came to an end on Friday, March 13th. It was not by choice, but because I overslept, didn’t have time to write first thing in the morning like I usually do, and then got distracted by the rest of my day and completely forgot about writing until the following morning.
I’m disappointed in myself but proud of the 1,511 days in a row I did write. Since then, I have allowed myself to take some time off of working on The World Will Be Waiting, which has actually been kind of nice. Don’t worry; I won’t leave you hanging for too long. Hopefully, this little break will help to reinvigorate me, so I can finish the story strong.
In the meantime, I’ve been dabbling with a couple of other little writing projects, one of which is a new one-shot I’m excited to debut today! It’s a crossover fic, inspired by the Boys’ announcement that they recorded a brand new song for the upcoming PAW Patrol movie! Check it out at the link below or on AO3!
If You Want It to Be Good Pup, Get Yourself a Bad Boy
Synopsis:
“Take this moment and bottle up this feeling…”
In the seaside town of Adventure Bay, a sense of excitement has been brewing ever since the world’s best-selling boyband, the Backstreet Boys, announced that they would be bringing their highly-anticipated tour there. But when a larger than life disaster strikes during the concert, Mayor Goodway must call on Ryder and his team of pups to save the day. No job is too big. No pup is too small. PAW Patrol is on a roll!
Once the good pups have saved the day, it’s time to play… with the hottest boys in Adventure Bay. Chase is ready for action with Kevin, Marshall’s fired up for a red hot romp with Howie, and Zuma’s all set to get wet with Nick. And which pup will go down on Brian? Rubble on the double! Meanwhile, Rocky learns a valuable lesson from AJ: “Don’t lose it, reuse it!” doesn’t apply to condoms. If you want it to be wild, gotta know just who to dial: PAW Patrol!
